DescriptionSame kind of build as my secondary gun Brawler Bismarck but at Tier 3 😜. But where my Bismarck's secondarys range are at 11km, Nassau atm "only has 7.3km. and where Bismark had 14 dubble turrets Nassau had 28 singles, (4 88mm, 12 more 88mm and 12 150mm guns. ( The 88's only difference is the version number c/06 vs c/13 but they have exactly the same stats.. visible to us at the least). Only slightly higher reload then Bismark too: 3.6, 3.6 and 7.7s where Bismark had 3s and 6.8s. Abit lower HE shell dmg naturally. But I just saw now that the 12 150mm guns actually only fires AP rounds. Meaning a much lower chans to set fires then Big brother, but where Bismarks 6x2 150mm HE shots do maximum 1.700 dmg, Nassaus 12 150mm AP rounds do up to 3.700dmg which oddly enough is only 700 lower then the HE rounds from Bismarck's 4x2 380mm main guns. Although their fire chans is big at 34% + 5 and 8% from her 105mm's and 150s. Meanwhile Nassou's Main guns only has 19% chanse and her 16 secondary using HE had 4%. But that doesn't matter at all. Nassou is a very agile ship and with her 23.5kn speed she surely is faster then most other battleships around her lvl. Add ro that That she had armor belt not only around the Citadel parts, but also on the sides of both the fore and aft section. And an even thicker belt inside seperating the fore and aft sections from the middle and the citadel. It's Probably my favorite ship to play. I almost only have to steer towards the enemy aiming for the middle of their group, and while I don't always survive, I seldom get less then 3 kill/game. Most destroyers at those tiers had a lower or similar range on their torpedoes as the range on my secondarys. So every time I spot a DD closer than 7.3km, that DD usually dies 30-40s later. It feels even more effective then the Tier 7 Bismarck.. but that's probably the Tier difference. Cruisers doesn't fare much better even though they last a bit longer. But Nassaus 12x1 150mm secondarys firing AP instead of HE is a huge boon against cruisers as that caliber is enough for penetrating any cruisers I've seen at least (depending ofc on angle and armor layout) but they are likely not to big to be useless vs DD's either. (I have to look up the numbers for over-penetration again). A downside perhaps is that her 6x2 Min guns only are 283mm like the Tier 6 Scharnhorst, And where Scharnhorst with 20s has the lowest stock reload of all battleships in the game, my Nassou using the "Main battery mod. 3" in her 4th upgrade slot has 19.5s. so the low caliber shouldn't and have never been a hinderence either. Sometimes it's simply fun entering a game with an overpowered ship that never lets you down. And btw, 80% or more of when I'm killed in her it's always by torpedoes. It's a weak point despite her agility, as she only has 13% torpedo dmg reduction along with weak armor vs torpedoes. Where she in reality was one of the 1st designed with torpedo protection armor below water etc. To conclude: Fun!
