DescriptionElbing is a high-skill ship that needs to act smartly in most engagements. It's not fast, nor overly maneuverable, and can get many players into trouble quickly. The combination of high stealth and hard hitting guns AND torpedoes in this build allows you to maximize the engagement in your time, on your terms. I regularly out-spot all but the stealthiest DD's. I can't see early show up on sixth sense and are already inside the trap before they know I'm there. The slow torpedoes are used as area defense.... just throw them down lanes of enemy approach. Get in tight (7km or so) on any non-radar cruiser, broadside and turn your stern to them... wait until they are engaged, then citadel away. Minotaurs die in 3-4 salvos. Most CC captains are in disbelief as you melt them down. Many open up and give you their citadel like you're another paper DD. This build is just fun as hell and will definitely get you salty messages from sunken foes.
