Proper Azuma

Azuma is a vessel singularly focused on stealthily hunting targets. Use its speed and concealment to sneak up on unsuspecting targets, preferably while humming the Jaws theme. Like the infamous Great White, strike suddenly with its powerful broadside of nine 310mm guns. If you don't delete the target outright, use your armor and massive HP pool to outfight and finish them off. A very strong AA battery helps to ward off carrier attacks, and if the opportunity presents itself then you are a highly effective carrier hunter, though quite often you will be more useful when hunting cruisers and harassing enemy battleships. Unfortunately, its strengths are also its weaknesses. Despite having good speed, concealment, and hydro, Azuma is too big and unwieldy both in maneuverability and reload to effectively hunt enemy destroyers. By that same token, its armor renders it incredibly vulnerable to enemy battleships, especially those with 406mm and higher caliber guns that can overpenetrate your bow. Remain at range and engage both targets with your powerful HE, which can chunk out HP and set fires quite effectively, though your slow reload further hampers your effectiveness in sustained battles. Do not be afraid to disengage, repair damage, and relocate to an advantageous new position. Like the Great White, you must strike surgically, and disappear swiftly. Remain unpredictable and terrifying to your opponents while helping take pressure off your allies.
