when you have the catapult up, your damage will be insanely high, something like 20424 per citadel, good luck broadside ships ;) Also the skill that increase your damage reduces the damage that your citadel takes, which is huge for Yamato, but you need to be more careful to light cruisers and Akizuki because your superstructure, nose and stern will eat 25% more damage :(
