DescriptionMeant to be a slightly more balanced Wichita of sorts, this build tries to capatalize on Wichita's fast rudder shift, faster speed (by American cruiser standards) and increased AP shell performance (Kinda). For a commander, I went with AL Montpelier for her All-Out_Assault assault skill, If you lack AL Monty, Norman Scott can Also be used. Since we are gonna be long-range Kiting, Increased fire dispersion of enemy shells helps with kiting, as shells are gonna be less accurate. AL Monty does everything Norman Scott does, albeit with the slight diffference of increased AA range by 10%, 5.5% more enemy dispersion, while losing 1% in shell grouping, and taking 5% more damage. It is up to you whether you think that is a good trade or not. But i have Monty invested in more than Scott, so I chose her. For insperation, in slot 1, AL Baltimore was chosen. Increasing oour rudder shift will further increase our ability to dodge incoming shots. For slot 2, I went with AL Azuma, for a little increase in incoming shells dispersion, and small speed increase. Another option here is Phillip Vain, for more in incoming fire dispersion. If you don't care for the rudder shift increase with AL Baltimore, use AL Azuma with Phillip Vain. For Commander skills, Slot 1, Beyond range for a range increase. Slot 2, Igniter for some increase in HE fire chance, while our HE does less damage, We still have a fast reload for a CA. So it wouldn't be a bad option to switch tp HE when you can't get pens with AP. Slot 3. All-Out-Assault for the reasons above. Slot 4, I went with Steer Clear for more agiliity, but if you are worried about your shells hitting because of the increased dispersion of the new Wichita, Fixated can be used. For a legendary skill, I went with Refill Station, to get our reload below 8 seconds, and, if near allies, likely BBs in the back, a further increase in our range. The AP Shells: With the new Wichita came balane changes, the focues is on damage HE for "Better" AP shells. while they do increased damage and have higher pen, the guaranteed ricochet angles decreased a lot from 75 degrees of CE Wichita, to 67.5 degrees, according to the balance changes in the patch notes. (This makes it the same as Baltimores) While we do more damage, we will richochet more. Since we do less damage with our HE, and our AP does more damage, I reccomend Using AP whenever Possible.
